Bakke's Story

What Don Murray means by the line of the story is the most memorable part of the story. Whatever quote or sentence that has impacted you the most is the line of the story. Don Murray thinks that craft is all the years and work you have put into becoming a better writer for yourself. Whether that be sitting next to someone who has been writing for years and reading their writings or just practicing and writing as much as you can to improve. Murray means by art to learn and discover things for the first time. This story is an art. It is about how Jean had her dog and saved him from the shelter. She had him for ten years when she learned that the dog was there for her just as much as she was for him. He was more than a dog, he was family that was looking out for her and Jean learned that through this experience.
